Dr. Kanouse
Dr. Kanouse is the owner and Medical Director at our practice. He is a member of and past president of the Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Association, certified in Veterinary Acupuncture, member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and American Animal Hospital Association. He is active in his community and enjoys skiing, hiking, gardening, sailing, and horse back riding. Dr. Kanouse’s wife, Pat, and their son, Evan, work at the hospital alongside him. Their golden mix, Red, and Jack Russel, Francine, along with the two cats, Striped and Chewy, are not employed. Yet.
Pat K.
Pat, Dr. Kanouse’s wife, has a healthy obsession for the Hudson River and enjoys getting her “river fix” and learning about local history on the days she’s not at the practice. When she’s at Brook Farm, she…well… is still thinking about the river, among performing her other duties as Business Manager / CFO.

Evan K.
Dr. and Mrs. Kanouse’s son, Evan has an undying passion for the field and plans to expand the practice over the next several years (after graduating college, of course.) As Director of Hospital Administration, you’ll see Evan administrating the practice and keeping a watchful eye on our operations. Evan is also responsible for the technology used behind the scenes and for this very website.

Jessica M.
Right now, Jessica would rather be hiking the Hudson Valley or boxing, which is “by far [her] favorite sport.” Instead, she’s part-time Client Advocate, working hard to create a welcoming atmosphere for our clients and their pets, and part-time Public Relations Coordinator, watching quality control and ensure the practice’s image goes untarnished through excellent customer service.

Klinker
Klinker, as our Chief Happiness Consultant, keeps us all in good spirits and in good cheer day in and day out.
You may contact Jessica to schedule an appearance, but Klinker’s schedule is quite packed nowadays.
