#1 - Special Accommodations

The amount of time estimated for each appointment isn’t an exact science, and not always within our control. Late arrivals, complex cases, and pets with anxiety or behavioral issues can all impact your wait time.

Please know that our medical team is fully staffed, and we only schedule the appointments that we know we can see.

#2 - Emergencies

Sometimes we need to see patients based on the severity of their condition - not their time of arrival. The number of life-threatening cases arriving at our hospital varies and can have an impact on your wait time. We know it's hard to watch other pets get seen ahead of your own. When this happens, we’ll do our best to keep you informed of the situation and the expected delay.

From pre-op to post-op, our medical team provides personalized care for your pet.

#3 - Tender Loving Care

Discussing palliative or end-of-life care is upsetting for anyone who loves their pet. In these appointments, we allow clients more time to ask questions and express their concerns. Please continue to be patient as we are still working hard to have your pet seen in a timely manner.

If your pet has been diagnosed with a terminal illness or if further therapy is not a viable option, we will work with your family to manage the symptoms so that you and your pet may find peace and closure together.
